The London Transgender Day of Remembrance 2015 event is taking place on Friday 20th November.

Since 1998 events have been held worldwide to remember those murdered and driven to death for being transgendered. Each year sadly the numbers of reports of deaths increases. This will be a sombre event but there will also be poetry and music celebrating trans people’s talent and lives, and bringing an uplifting spirit to the evening.

London Transgender Day of Remembrance event  is a non-political, non-profit event hosted by, and for, trans people. All trans and gender-diverse people, as well as their friends and allies, are very welcome to attend.

The venue is
Centenary Building
City University London
Spencer Street
London EC1V 0HB

A faith event starts at 6pm and is taking place in the basement. The main event starts at 7.30pm and is on the second floor.
