Save the dates: 11th-18th October 2014 is National Hate Crime Awareness Week organised by the 17-24-30 No to Hate Crime Campaign.

  • 11th Oct Special Event to launch the week
  • 11th-18th Oct Hate Crime Awareness Week
  • 18th Oct International Day of Hope and Remembrance for those affected by Hate
  • 19th Oct End of the Week celebration

The purpose of the National Hate Crime Awareness Week is to tackle local hate crime issues by raising awareness of what hate crime is and how to respond to it, encourage  reporting, and promote local support services and resources.

We want to encourage local authorities (Police, Council and others) to work in partnership with local groups and community organisations to host a series of Hate Crime Awareness Events throughout the UK and Abroad in the week leading up to the International Day of Hope and Remembrance for those affected by Hate Crime.
